“What She Swallowed” is a pop-up mental health space and performance space, first created April 2017, then again in April 2019 in conjunction with “The Cassandra Transcripts.” Both times it was installed in the Logan Center in Chicago, Illinois.
“Toxic” performed as an American Rumba by Sarah “Sam” Saltiel and Olivia Gould in May 2023 at Brown University. Choreographed by Sarah “Sam” Saltiel.
“Borderline Rupture” performed in beta testing April 2023 in Providence, Rhode Island. The flyers depicted above were created and left strategically in public for community interaction.
On “Borderline Rupture”: The space between the self and the public is always a performance, one built up over time. Due to the isolation of the pandemic, it feels like there is a rupture in the self, an inability to craft or connect to the former performative self.
