“Q. Will you always be sad?

a. hope not. i’m moving to the desert.

Q. Is there anything you want?

a. to touch someone.

Written like a quiet scream, the poetry weaves a narrative fragmented by dissociation and trauma as the narrator prepares to leave everything that is familiar to her. It is an exploration into intimacy and precarity, and the way that they change through multiplicity. a long exposure of undoing was a finalist for the Riza Press Chapbook Contest, won the Price of Violets contest, and was published by Storm of Blue Press March 27, 2020.
